As a Welder Fabricator, your responsibilities will include:
- Manufacture sheet metal and fabricated products to specification and engineering drawings
- Maintain right first time standards, build efficiency and service levels consistently
- Resolve manufacturing issues quickly, keeping clear communication with the operations team
- Assist with assembly work as required
- Adhere to UK Health and Safety regulations and company quality standards
- Contribute to continuous improvement activities and support colleagues as needed
As a Welder Fabricator, your experience will include:
- Completion of an engineering apprenticeship or equivalent qualification
- Considerable experience in assembly and engineering within a manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings and sheet metal fabrication, welding, and cutting
- A disciplined, self-motivated approach with strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively as part of a team
- Counterbalance forklift licence advantageous
