As an Assembly Operative, your responsibilities will include:
- Wiring and assembling electrical and control components to technical drawings and wiring diagrams
- Building sub-assemblies, such as fan and motor looms, accurately to specification
- Carrying out quality checks and testing on completed units
- Following build instructions methodically to maintain high standards
- Keeping your work area safe, organised and tidy
As an Assembly Operative, your experience will include:
- Previous wiring, electrical or mechanical assembly experience within manufacturing or engineering
- Confidence reading and working from technical drawings and wiring diagrams
- Good hand tool skills and a steady, precise approach
