What matters is that you&rsquo;re reliable, comfortable on a computer and good at working out how things work.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>As a Production Operative (CNC Trainee), you will benefit from:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul dir=\"ltr\">\n<li>Monday to Friday days only, 8:30am to 5:00pm, with your weekends free<\/li>\n<li>Full training from day one, starting with the basics and building up step by step<\/li>\n<li>A clear route onto CNC routers once your initial training is complete<\/li>\n<li>6 to 12 months of specialist router training, giving you a technical skill you&rsquo;ll keep for the rest of your career<\/li>\n<li>The chance of a long-term role with an established <strong>manufacturing<\/strong> business<\/li>\n<li>A steady, structured environment where taking care over the work is valued<\/li>\n<li>An easy commute to Old Sarum, Salisbury<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>As a Production Operative (CNC Trainee), your responsibilities will include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul dir=\"ltr\">\n<li>Operating factory machinery and equipment safely and accurately<\/li>\n<li>Using hand tools and packaging materials during the production process<\/li>\n<li>Completing production paperwork accurately for each works order<\/li>\n<li>Reading and understanding basic drawings and specifications<\/li>\n<li>Progressing onto CNC routers, learning how the computer-based controls and machine settings work<\/li>\n<li>Keeping your work area clean, organised and up to standard<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>As a Production Operative (CNC Trainee), your experience will include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul dir=\"ltr\">\n<li>Being confident using computers and willing to pick up new software as your training gets more technical<\/li>\n<li>A background in <strong>manufacturing<\/strong>, <strong>production<\/strong> or <strong>engineering<\/strong> (preferred)<\/li>\n<li>A good technical understanding, or a natural interest in how machines and processes work<\/li>\n<li>A reliable attendance record and the commitment to see long-term training through<\/li>\n<li>Confidence to ask questions, follow instructions and take on more responsibility as you develop<\/li>\n<li>Your own <strong>steel toe cap safety boots<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">If you want regular weekday hours and the chance to build a technical skill as a <strong>Production Operative (CNC Trainee)<\/strong> with a long-term future, this is the place to start.
