Every design you produce goes from CAD to PCB to microcontroller code, and you&rsquo;ll see it built and running on a real production line. This is a role where high standards and a practical, problem-solving approach are genuinely valued, and where you can keep building expertise across mechanical and electronic disciplines.<\/p>\n<p> As a Mechatronics Engineer, you will benefit from:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Potential Employee Ownership Trust (EOT) bonus<\/li>\n<li>Holiday rising to 25 days with service, plus bank holidays<\/li>\n<li>Free on-site parking<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>As a Mechatronics Engineer, your responsibilities will include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop established machine designs to meet specific customer and application requirements<\/li>\n<li>Produce 3D models, detailed manufacturing drawings and Bills of Materials for frames, guarding, nozzles, manifolds and product handling assemblies<\/li>\n<li>Select and integrate pneumatic systems, linear motion, drives, sensors and actuators<\/li>\n<li>Design PCBs and write, modify and debug microcontroller software for machine functions<\/li>\n<li>Support machine build, trials, factory testing and commissioning, including occasional site visits for installation and troubleshooting<\/li>\n<li>Ensure designs meet machinery safety requirements and relevant industry standards<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>As a Mechatronics Engineer, your experience will include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline<\/li>\n<li>Confident use of 3D CAD software such as AutoCAD or Fusion 360<\/li>\n<li>A good understanding of pneumatics, linear motion, drives, sensors and actuators<\/li>\n<li>Experience with PCB design, electronics or microcontroller-based systems, with solid programming fundamentals (C\/C++ desirable)<\/li>\n<li>Experience in special-purpose machinery, automation or OEM machinery is desirable, with food processing or stainless steel machine design a bonus<\/li>\n<li>A full UK driving licence<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you&rsquo;re looking for a Mechatronics Engineer role where you own a design from first model to a working machine on a customer&rsquo;s line, this is worth a proper conversation.
