{"id":2950,"date":"2026-10-02T14:10:49","date_gmt":"2026-10-02T14:10:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jobs.rubiconpeople.co.uk\/?job_listing=cnc-turner-3"},"modified":"2026-10-02T14:10:49","modified_gmt":"2026-10-02T14:10:49","slug":"cnc-turner-3","status":"publish","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/jobs.rubiconpeople.co.uk\/?job_listing=cnc-turner-3","title":{"rendered":"CNC Turner"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>CNC Turner | Lymington | up to &pound;23ph<\/strong><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Earn up to &pound;23 per hour as a CNC Turner setting and operating precision 3 axis lathes.<br \/>You&#8217;ll work to tight tolerances on large components, in a machine shop that runs on accuracy and process.<br \/>This is a role for someone who takes pride in getting the detail right, every single time.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>As a CNC Turner, you will benefit from:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul dir=\"ltr\">\n<li>Working hours Monday to Thursday 6:45am to 3:30pm and Friday 7am to 1pm, with an early finish every week<\/li>\n<li>34 days holiday<\/li>\n<li>9% pension contribution<\/li>\n<li>Sick pay after probation<\/li>\n<li>Clear progression as you build your skills on Mazak and Fanuc controls<\/li>\n<li>A stable, well-established employer in the precision engineering sector<\/li>\n<li>Supportive management and a structured working environment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>As a CNC Turner, your responsibilities will include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul dir=\"ltr\">\n<li>Setting and operating CNC lathes to precise specifications<\/li>\n<li>Following set-up sheets and job card instructions accurately<\/li>\n<li>Interpreting technical drawings, including geometric dimensions and tolerances<\/li>\n<li>Maintaining quality and safety standards at all times<\/li>\n<li>Working independently or as part of a team as required<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>As a CNC Turner, your experience will include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul dir=\"ltr\">\n<li>A minimum of 3 years&#8217; experience in a high precision manufacturing environment, working with large components<\/li>\n<li>A minimum of 3 years&#8217; experience operating Mazak controls<\/li>\n<li>Experience working to engineering drawings and job cards<\/li>\n<li>A completed apprenticeship in mechanical engineering<\/li>\n<li>Programming knowledge on Mazak controls (desirable)<\/li>\n<li>Security clearance (desirable)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">If you&#8217;re looking for a CNC Turner role where precision and process are valued, this is the environment for you.
