{"id":2527,"date":"2026-09-03T14:26:33","date_gmt":"2026-09-03T14:26:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jobs.rubiconpeople.co.uk\/?job_listing=laminator-2"},"modified":"2026-09-03T14:26:33","modified_gmt":"2026-09-03T14:26:33","slug":"laminator-2","status":"publish","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/jobs.rubiconpeople.co.uk\/?job_listing=laminator-2","title":{"rendered":"Laminator"},"content":{"rendered":"<p dir=\"ltr\">Precision matters in this role, and it&#8217;s precision that gets rewarded.<br \/>As a Laminator, earning up to &pound;16.00 per hour, you&#8217;ll build components exactly to specification, layer by layer.<br \/>This is a role for someone who takes real pride in getting the process right, every time.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">As a Laminator, you will benefit from:<\/p>\n<ul dir=\"ltr\">\n<li>Stable and long-term work<\/li>\n<li>A supportive team environment where your contribution is valued<\/li>\n<li>On-the-job development and opportunities to grow your composites skills<\/li>\n<li>Regular hours with a consistent shift pattern<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">As a Laminator, your responsibilities will include:<\/p>\n<ul dir=\"ltr\">\n<li>Laying up six layers of E-glass fibreglass webbing around pipes to specification<\/li>\n<li>Fitting heat shells and applying carbon fibre outer layers as part of the build process<\/li>\n<li>Preparing moulds, applying release agents, and ensuring surfaces are correctly prepped<\/li>\n<li>Carrying out inspection of finished laminates and flagging any defects<\/li>\n<li>Supporting the wider team to maintain a clean and organised workshop<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">As a Laminator, your experience will include:<\/p>\n<ul dir=\"ltr\">\n<li>Proven hands-on experience in a GRP production environment, this is essential<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with carbon fibre processes is desirable but not required<\/li>\n<li>Strong working knowledge of wet lay-up, infusion, or prepreg processes (one or more)<\/li>\n<li>A mature, measured approach to precision manufacturing work<\/li>\n<li>Confidence working independently to high quality and production standards<\/li>\n<li>Experience in aerospace, marine, or automotive composites is advantageous<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">If you&#8217;re ready to put your composites expertise into a role where accuracy and consistency are genuinely valued, we&#8217;d like to hear from you.
