If you&#8217;ve come from a carpentry, joinery, or bench-based trade or college course, this is your route into the aerospace sector.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What&#8217;s in it for you as an Assembler:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A structured training programme to support your development<\/li>\n<li>Enhanced holiday allowance<\/li>\n<li>Day shifts only, Monday to Friday, with an early finish at 1pm on Fridays<\/li>\n<li>Off-road free parking<\/li>\n<li>Overtime paid at x1.5<\/li>\n<li>A well-equipped workshop with modern tools and machinery<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What you&#8217;ll be doing day-to-day as an Assembler:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Cutting, bonding and shaping composite materials with precision<\/li>\n<li>Measuring and working accurately to millimetre tolerances<\/li>\n<li>Using hand tools including scissors and scalpel blades<\/li>\n<li>Lifting and manoeuvring heavy boards into the press area and ovens<\/li>\n<li>Working closely with colleagues to meet production targets<\/li>\n<li>Following established processes to ensure consistently high-quality output<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What you&#8217;ll bring as an Assembler:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A practical, hands-on background in any relevant trade, production environment or college course<\/li>\n<li>Confidence measuring and working to precise tolerances<\/li>\n<li>Experience working with wood, composites, or similar materials is an advantage<\/li>\n<li>A background as a carpenter or bench joiner is desirable but not essential<\/li>\n<li>Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to work<\/li>\n<li>A willingness to support the team with overtime when required<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>As an <strong>Assembler<\/strong> you&#8217;ll be backed by local people and a business that is genuinely invested in building you and your skills up, for a long-term career.
