This is a role with real authority, genuine influence, and a business that takes safety seriously.<\/p>\n<p><strong>As a Health Safety &amp; Environmental Lead, you will benefit from:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>25 days holiday + bank holidays<\/li>\n<li>Early finish on Friday<\/li>\n<li>Enhanced pension scheme<\/li>\n<li>Health cash plan<\/li>\n<li>Life insurance 4x salary<\/li>\n<li>Bonus scheme up to 5% based on certain criteria<\/li>\n<li>EAP<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>As a Health Safety &amp; Environmental Lead, your responsibilities will include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead and maintain the site&#8217;s health, safety and environmental management system<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with UK H&amp;S and environmental legislation<\/li>\n<li>Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses, implementing corrective actions<\/li>\n<li>Deliver H&amp;S inductions, toolbox talks and training programmes<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate emergency preparedness, including fire safety and evacuation drills<\/li>\n<li>Lead environmental and sustainability initiatives across the site<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>As a Health Safety &amp; Environmental Lead, your experience will include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>NEBOSH<\/strong> or <strong>IOSH General Certificate<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Relevant experience in a H&amp;S role within <strong>manufacturing<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Strong working knowledge of <strong>UK H&amp;S legislation<\/strong> and <strong>risk assessment<\/strong> methodologies<\/li>\n<li>Experience investigating incidents and delivering <strong>H&amp;S<\/strong> training<\/li>\n<li>Working knowledge of<strong> ISO45001<\/strong> and<strong> ISO14001<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you&#8217;re looking for a <strong>Health Safety &amp; Environmental Lead<\/strong> role where your voice carries real weight and your work has visible impact, this could be the next step.
