This role requires both independent work and collaboration with a growing team on diverse technical disciplines.<\/p>\n<p><strong>As a 2<sup>nd<\/sup> Line Support Engineer, you&rsquo;ll benefit from:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>25 days&#8217; holiday plus bank holidays, with additional holiday for long service.<\/li>\n<li>Company bonus scheme<\/li>\n<li>Established company pension scheme.<\/li>\n<li>Access to health &amp; wellness and employee rewards platforms.<\/li>\n<li>Develop a personal development plan with your line manager, including time for learning, budget for exams, and mentorship for industry-recognised certifications.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>As a 2<sup>nd<\/sup> Line Support Engineer, your responsibilities will include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Troubleshoot and Resolve:&nbsp;<\/strong>Handle Helpdesk incidents and provide hands-on support for Microsoft 365, servers, and networks.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Configure and Upgrade:<\/strong>&nbsp;Upgrade and configure hardware, software, and related services.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Document and Maintain:&nbsp;<\/strong>Contribute to infrastructure documentation and create knowledge base articles.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Escalate and Assist:&nbsp;<\/strong>Act as an escalation point for Line 1 engineers and escalate tickets as needed.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Client Interaction and Site Visits:&nbsp;<\/strong>Manage client calls and conduct site visits when required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>As a 2<sup>nd<\/sup> Line Support Engineer, your skills and experience will include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Helpdesk Experience:<\/strong>&nbsp;At least 2 years&#8217; experience on an IT Helpdesk, utilising a PSA\/ITSM\/CRM support tool like Autotask.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Microsoft 365:<\/strong>&nbsp;Proficiency in OneDrive, SharePoint Online, Exchange Online, Teams, Intune, Entra ID, Entra Connect, Defender for Office 365, and Defender for Endpoint.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Server Roles:<\/strong>&nbsp;Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Networking:<\/strong>&nbsp;Knowledge of LAN-based networking, cloud-managed switches like Unifi or Meraki, wireless, VPNs, and routing.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Certifications:<\/strong>&nbsp;Completed or working towards Microsoft 365 accreditation.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to gain SC clearance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Interested?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking business that values innovation, collaboration, and growth.
