As a Dispatch Operative, your responsibilities will include:
- Picking, packing and preparing orders accurately for dispatch
- Checking goods and paperwork against orders before they leave site
- Loading vehicles safely and efficiently
- Keeping stock records and dispatch systems up to date
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised dispatch area.
As a Dispatch Operative, your experience will include:
- Previous experience in a warehouse, dispatch or logistics environment (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and a consistent, reliable approach to work
- Basic IT skills for updating stock and dispatch records
- An understanding of safe manual handling and health and safety practices
- A forklift licence (FLT) would be an advantage, but is not essential
- Own transport, due to the site’s location and limited public transport links.
