As a HR Operations & Payroll Officer, your responsibilities will include:

• Owning end-to-end monthly payroll across six group entities, including HMRC submissions, year-end and pension uploads
• Processing starters, leavers, changes, overtime, bonuses and statutory payments accurately and on time
• Managing the HR inbox and ticketing system, resolving queries within a 24-hour response standard
• Producing contracts, offer letters and change letters, and running onboarding and leaver administration
• Acting as the main BambooHR user, maintaining data integrity, producing HR reports and supporting the PayFit integration
• Keeping accurate absence records, running Bradford Factor reviews and administering sick pay in line with policy

As a HR Operations & Payroll Officer, your experience will include:

• 5+ years of end-to-end payroll experience, ideally across multiple entities or complex PAYE schemes
• Confident handling HMRC submissions (RTI, FPS, EPS), year-end, pensions auto-enrolment and statutory payments
• Strong HR administration alongside payroll, including contracts, change letters and starter and leaver admin
• HRIS experience, ideally BambooHR, and intermediate to advanced Excel skills
• CIPP Payroll Technician Certificate and experience in logistics or freight would be an advantage
• A full UK driving licence, the ability to work across both sites, and the ability to pass a Basic DBS and 5-year background check
