As a Sewing Machinist, your responsibilities will include:
- Sewing accurate straight lines, including attaching Velcro to material
- Cutting and trimming material to the required standard
- Monitoring and reporting stock levels
- Cleaning finished products ready for dispatch
- Keeping the work area tidy, including sweeping and general warehouse duties
As a Sewing Machinist, your experience will include:
- Experience using a sewing machine, ideally an industrial sewing machine (full training provided)
- A careful eye for detail and a steady, accurate approach
- Experience in manufacturing, textiles or production environments is an advantage
- Happy to support with general housekeeping alongside machine work
- Reliable and able to work independently once trained
