As a full-time Warehouse Operative working within a distribution business, you’ll be responsible for supplying high-quality products to customers. You’ll be part of a team of operators processing customer orders to exact specifications.
Due to the company’s location, owning your own transport is essential for this role!
As a Warehouse Operative your responsibilities will include:
- Picking and collating orders, unloading and loading lorries
- Move materials from storage using forklift trucks
- Assist across the site with the loading and unloading of materials
- Working as part of a team as and when orders are generated.
- Collating orders, including banding, palletising, bagging and preparing them for loading.
- Identify and locate different products using appropriate measuring equipment
- Keeping work areas clean and tidy
As a Warehouse Operative, you’ll have:
- The ability to work at a fast pace whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy
- Experience working within a warehouse
- Good computer skills
- Ideally Forklift licence or experience
- Excellent numeracy skills
